迷雾山庄

The Moment (더모먼트) is a Korean original small-theater musical that explores fate, coincidence, and time through the story of three men trapped in a secluded mountain lodge. The work became one of the few Korean immersive-style musicals to be licensed for performance in China, marking a notable case of post-2020 Korean exports outside large-scale productions.

ORIGIN

Premiered in 2020, written by Pyo Sang-a (book & lyrics) with music by Kim Yeowoori. Produced by Standby Company, later presented by Hong Company. First staged at Uniplex 2 Theater in Daehak-ro, Seoul. Developed as an intimate three-hander with minimal staging and a narrative built around psychological tension, nonlinear time, and mystery elements.

STORY

Three men arrive at a remote lodge in the mountains, each claiming to have reserved the same space for different personal reasons. When they discover they cannot leave, they begin to question whether they are trapped by circumstance, time, or their own unresolved pasts. A missing woman and the notebook she leaves behind reveal hidden connections among them, turning the lodge into a closed-room investigation of choice, regret, and destiny. The work blends light humor with metaphysical suspense, using music to shift between reality and imagined timelines.
