07 Resale Policy
Korea
In Korea, ticket resale is strictly prohibited under cultural event regulations. Nevertheless, secondary ticket platforms and informal exchanges still exist, as the law cannot fully block consumer-to-consumer transactions. Profiting from resale is illegal, but fans sometimes transfer tickets at face value within trusted communities.

To collect paper tickets at the venue, buyers must present valid identification or the original purchase confirmation. This system helps reduce fraud and ensures tickets are used for personal attendance.

Broadway
On Broadway, ticket resale is legal and regulated. Most theaters and official platforms, such as Ticketmaster Verified Resale, allow holders to resell tickets at market price. Other authorized channels include StubHub and TodayTix resale services, which guarantee authenticity. Prices often fluctuate depending on demand, and highly popular shows may resell far above face value.
Because all sales are final on Broadway, resale functions as the only option for those unable to attend. Buyers are encouraged to use official resale platforms to avoid counterfeit tickets and inflated third-party websites.
