11 Entering the Auditorium

Korea

When entering the auditorium, audience members must show their ticket to the usher. While ushers are present to assist, they generally do not guide you to your seat unless you specifically request help. During intermissions, tickets must be kept on hand, as they are required for re-entry into the auditorium after restroom breaks or other exits. Keeping your ticket easily accessible helps avoid inconvenience.

Broadway

On Broadway, entry typically begins at the main gate, where staff conduct bag checks manually or with scanners. QR codes or mobile tickets are then scanned, after which ushers usually escort guests directly to their seats and hand out Playbills. Once inside, audience members are free to move around the theater during intermissions without needing to show their ticket or phone again.
