After being excommunicated by the Church, the last surviving Cantorian monastery faces closure when its financial support ends. Three monks — Benno, Arvo, and Tasilo — depart for Italy carrying the order’s treasured rulebook, encountering the outside world for the first time. Along the journey they meet Kiira, a pragmatic journalist whose presence challenges their ideals. The musical balances light comedy with reflective themes of faith, temptation, purpose, and the search for inner conviction.
