One More (원모어) is a Korean original musical adapted from the webtoon The Day After We Broke Up, using a time-loop device to explore love, regret, and self-reflection. The show gained overseas attention through its 2021 licensed production in Shanghai, staged in a large-theatre format.

ORIGIN

2019, music and direction by Kim Hye-sung, based on the webtoon by Kim In-ho and Nam Ji-eun, produced by Culture Factory SangSangMaru, premiered at Dongyang Arts Center 2 Hall in Seoul. Developed through the KOCCA “Webtoon-Linked Creative Content” program. Known for its live band feel, contemporary pop-ballad score, and romantic fantasy tone.

STORY

Yoo-tan, a struggling indie musician, breaks up with his longtime girlfriend Da-in and wakes up to find that the same day is repeating over and over. Trapped in a time loop, he relives ordinary moments until he begins to notice what he has taken for granted. Through music, regret, and small repeated choices, he learns what truly matters and how to reclaim a future he almost abandoned. The musical blends light comedy, warm sentiment, and modern pop-style numbers.

Licensed adaptation – Chinese-language production at Shanghai People’s Grand Stage
The show ran for 14 performances from December 9–19, 2021, presented by Beijing Jianuo Culture Media under license from Culture Factory SangSangMaru. The production was scaled up for a large venue, incorporating wire work, full-stage star-sky effects, and revised scenic transitions. Cast featured Zhang Chao and Li Xiangzhe as Liu Tan, with strong audience reception for the visual design and emotional clarity of the adaptation.
