ORIGIN

Dream High 2 was developed in South Korea as a stage continuation of the original television drama Dream High, produced by ArtOne Company. The show musical format emphasizes large-scale choreography, popular music styles, and star casting drawn from K-pop and musical theatre. Building on the success of the original stage musical Dream High, the sequel was positioned for both domestic touring and international cultural promotion.

STORY

Set ten years after the events of the original drama, the story follows former students of Kirin Arts High School as they reunite while confronting the realities of adulthood, fame, and unfulfilled dreams. The narrative centers on Song Sam-dong, now a global K-pop star, who returns to his old school amid personal and professional crisis. As past friendships, rivalries, and unresolved emotions resurface, the characters reassess what success and dreams truly mean. The tone balances nostalgia with high-energy performance driven by music and dance.
