Korean & Korean Diaspora Musical Performers on Broadway and in the West End

This list documents South Korean performers and performers of documented Korean heritage who have appeared in Broadway or West End musicals. Each entry identifies the performer’s first qualifying musical credit in either market, including the production, year, credited role or track, theatre, company-entry status, and any covering assignment such as understudy, standby, alternate, or first cover.

 

The list covers musicals only. Earlier appearances in plays, Off-Broadway or Off-West End productions, regional theatre, and touring companies are not counted as Broadway or West End musical debuts, although selected professional credits may be documented separately on individual performer pages.

 

Each entry links to a performer page containing production credits and links to Playbill, London theatre records, or other relevant sources.

 

This is an independently researched and continually updated archive rather than an exhaustive official roster. Korean heritage is included only when it is publicly documented; it is not inferred from a performer’s name or appearance.
