Alex Lee Tano, also known in Korea as Lee So-jung, is a South Korean musical-theatre actor and writer. She made her Broadway debut as an alternate replacement Kim in Miss Saigon on December 16, 1998, after performing with the musical’s touring company. Her career later continued in Korea through stage performance, education, writing, and work documenting her experiences in musical theatre. Her Broadway credit represents an early instance of a Korean performer moving from an American touring company into a principal role in an ongoing Broadway production.
