Jinwoo Jung is a Korean actor and singer whose American stage career developed through graduate acting training, regional theatre, touring productions, and Broadway. He received an MFA in acting from the University of Southern California and appeared as Jean-Michel in East West Players’ La Cage aux Folles and in The Christians at the Mark Taper Forum. He also portrayed Thuy in the Broadway national tour of Miss Saigon. Jung participated in the 2017 Off-Broadway production of KPOP as Oracle before returning for its substantially revised Broadway version in 2022. He made his Broadway debut as Juny and also served as the original understudy for Jae Ik, connecting his earlier American musical-theatre experience with a production centered specifically on Korean popular culture.
