Kate Mina Lin is a Korean- and Taiwanese-American actor, singer, and dancer who entered Broadway shortly after graduating from high school. Before her stage debut, she worked in film and television and trained in dance and musical theatre. Lin made her Broadway debut in 2022 as Miyeon, a member of the fictional K-pop girl group RTMIS, in the original cast of KPOP. As the production’s youngest cast member, she represented a younger generation of Asian-American performers negotiating multiple cultural backgrounds within a work centered on Korean music and identity. She later returned to Broadway as a replacement in & Juliet, demonstrating a transition from a culturally specific debut production into a long-running commercial musical.
