It earned multiple national awards early in its domestic life, helping establish the title as a repeatable repertory work in the Korean family musical market. 2012 – premiere, Haneule. Remounted frequently in children’s theaters and touring circuits, including a 2015 run at Cecil Theater, Seoul. Partial Synopsis
Giffy is a young giraffe born with a shorter neck than the others on the savannah. Teased and excluded, he struggles with shame until illegal hunters threaten the animals’ home. Teaming up with Tonga the zebra, another outcast with physical differences, Giffy discovers that what makes him different can also make him brave. The musical combines lively ensemble numbers with storytelling narration, aiming to teach children about inclusion, courage, and respect for all forms of life.
