Summary

Origin & Development
Written by Goya Kyung and developed through CJ Cultural Foundation’s Stage Up program, Treadmill places its characters in a premium car wash in Brooklyn. The treadmill becomes a recurring image of trauma, repetition, and stalled movement.
Partial Synopsis
At an exclusive car wash in Brooklyn, A maintains a tightly controlled life while carrying trauma from a deadly fire. The arrival of another worker disrupts his routine, and the treadmill becomes both a physical refuge and an image of his inability to escape the past.
