(Full Synopsis)

Set in a fictional Joseon dynasty under King Seongjo, the musical unfolds within the royal court, where prophecy, political power, and fate intertwine around two princes and a woman destined to stand between them.

A royal shaman foresees a future in which two suns compete over a single moon. Princes Hwon and Yangmyung, both born under the fate of the sun, encounter Yeon-woo, a noblewoman destined to become the moon. Both fall in love with her, but Yeon-woo is ultimately chosen as Crown Princess, deepening the emotional conflict.

As political tensions rise, the powerful Yoon faction sees Yeon-woo as a threat to their influence and conspires to eliminate her. Under coercion, the shaman transfers Yeon-woo’s memories into her servant and stages her death, sending her into hiding with no recollection of her past.

Believing Yeon-woo to be dead, Hwon is consumed by grief and unable to forget her. Eight years later, now king, he encounters a shaman named Wol, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yeon-woo. Drawn by familiarity and unresolved emotions, he begins to uncover the truth behind her disappearance.

As memories, identities, and hidden truths resurface, the story moves toward the revelation of Yeon-woo’s past and the fulfillment of the prophecy that has bound their fates together.
