SYNOPSIS

(Full Synopsis)

Set in Hong Kong’s criminal underworld, the musical unfolds amid betrayal, loyalty, and revenge, where two brothers are torn apart by their opposing paths and the consequences of their past.

A high-ranking member of a crime syndicate decides to leave behind his life of crime in order to protect his younger brother, who has chosen a lawful path as a police officer. However, a betrayal within the organization leads to his arrest, and their father is killed in the ensuing conflict. When the younger brother learns of his sibling’s true identity, he becomes consumed by anger and resentment.

Meanwhile, the former gangster’s closest friend attempts to avenge him but is gravely injured, leaving him physically disabled and trapped in a life of decline. Years later, the younger brother infiltrates the criminal world as part of an undercover operation, targeting a new crime boss and uncovering deeper conspiracies.

After being released from prison, the older brother struggles to live an honest life, working in obscurity while grappling with guilt and regret. Reunited with his broken friend, he initially refuses to return to his past. However, when his younger brother disappears during the investigation, he is forced back into the criminal underworld to save him.

As past loyalties, personal ambitions, and hidden betrayals collide, the three men confront their intertwined destinies. Their journey culminates in a violent confrontation where sacrifice, redemption, and the meaning of brotherhood are tested, leaving open the question of whether a new future can truly be achieved.
