오늘 밤, 세계에서 이 사랑이 사라진다 해도
Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (오늘 밤, 세계에서 이 사랑이 사라진다 해도) is a Korean musical adaptation of a Japanese novel, depicting a youth romance shaped by memory loss and fragile moments. It explores love, memory, and emotional continuity through a conditional relationship between two teenagers.
SYNOPSIS
(Partial Synopsis)
Set in contemporary Japan, the musical unfolds in a high school setting, where a seemingly ordinary boy begins a relationship with a girl who suffers from anterograde amnesia.
The story begins when a boy confesses to a girl as part of an attempt to help a bullied classmate. Unexpectedly, she accepts the confession under three conditions: they must not speak at school, communication must remain minimal, and he must not truly fall in love with her.
As time passes, their staged relationship gradually turns into genuine affection. However, the boy soon discovers that the girl loses all memories of each day when she falls asleep, forcing her to relive each day without recollection of the previous one.
Determined to preserve their shared moments, he begins to create meaningful memories that she can rediscover through her journal, hoping that even if memories disappear, emotions may endure.
As their relationship deepens, the narrative shifts toward themes of loss, memory, and emotional resilience, ultimately questioning whether love can persist even when it cannot be remembered.
