Abraham Lim is a Korean-American actor and singer raised in New York and later based in Los Angeles. Before entering Broadway, he developed a screen career that included roles in The Boys, Clickbait, and the Korean-American horror film Umma. Lim made his Broadway debut in 2022 as Jae Ik, a member of the fictional K-pop group F8, in the original cast of KPOP. He also served as the original understudy for Jun Hyuk. During the production’s run, Lim publicly addressed the cultural language used in critical coverage of the musical, drawing attention to the responsibilities involved in reviewing an almost entirely Asian cast and a work performed partly in Korean. His career combines mainstream American screen acting with Korean-American representation in musical theatre.
