Jully Lee is a Korean-American actor, director, and improviser from Los Angeles who works in English- and Korean-language performance. Before Broadway, she appeared in the national tour of The Joy Luck Club and in regional productions including Hannah and the Dread Gazebo, Aubergine, and tokyo fish story. She has also served as artistic director of Cold Tofu Improv, one of the longest-running Asian-American improvisational theatre companies in the United States. Lee made her New York and Broadway debut in 2022 as Ruby, the Korean entertainment-company executive who shaped MwE’s career, in the original Broadway cast of KPOP. Her stage work has consistently engaged with Asian-American families, migration, language, and cultural identity.
