Kwang-Ho Hong is a South Korean musical-theatre actor whose career has connected Korea’s commercial musical industry with the West End. He began his professional career as an ensemble performer in The Last Empress in 2002, then established himself in Korea through leading roles including Jekyll/Hyde, Raoul and the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, and Quasimodo in Notre-Dame de Paris. In 2014, he joined the original company of the West End revival of Miss Saigon as Thuy at the Prince Edward Theatre and won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. After returning to Korea, he continued to lead major licensed and original productions, including Death Note, Cyrano, Sweeney Todd, The Great Comet, Moulin Rouge!, and Il Tenore.
