Marcus Choi is a Korean-American actor with more than two decades of Broadway experience. He made his Broadway debut in the 2002 revival of Flower Drum Song as an original ensemble member and understudy for Chao, then joined the original company of Wicked. His later Broadway credits include Sweet Charity, Allegiance, Miss Saigon, and Maybe Happy Ending, with work spanning principal roles, ensemble tracks, understudy assignments, and fight captain duties. Choi’s connection to Maybe Happy Ending began with the musical’s early workshops in 2016, years before he originated the Broadway roles of James, Junseo, and others. That long involvement links his Broadway career to a musical first developed and acclaimed in Korea and reflects the range and continuity of his work in Asian and Asian-American theatre.
